L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of coffee, malt, coconut, bourbon, maple syrup, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of a decent amount of bourbon (and its accompanying barrel), some maple syrup (quite sweet), a bit of chocolate (very good to see), a decent shot of malt (present throughout), and some nuts as well (hazelnuts and macadamias, especially). This is a rich, thick, and well-constructed flavor.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: A well done, easy to like stout. Drinkable.
