Had on tap at The Answer Brewpub. Very attractive dark brown/ black with ruby red accents when held to light. Strikingly complex nose with dark fruit, excellent coffee roast, rich nuttiness and sweet coconut. Each component on display individually as well as the blend. Flavor delicious if a bit cloying; mirrored but not as powerful as beer’s amazing aroma. Body was silky smooth but not overly chewy. Alcohol very well hidden. Extremely drinkable. Overall an excellent Coffee Imp Stout that in my mind had probably the best aroma I’ve experienced in a very long time.
