14 oz pseudo-pint glass served on tap at the Hallenbrick nano-brewery/bar in Albuquerque. Pours a pretty dark brown color and is hazy. Nice, lasting tan head drops some nice lacing on the glass.

Sweet, light chocolate malts with a bit of black licorice. Pretty fresh and good porter nose. Hops are definitely noticeable.

Alot of hops jump out on this porter, piney and citric. Amarillo apparently was the varietal used. It kind of hides the malts a bit, which is a bit unfortunate as it has some nice chocolate and licorice malt flavors with a touch of roast. Little bit of fruitcake yeast in here too. Has a bit of an identity crisis going on...but I guess if anything, I'd call it a hoppy American porter. Enjoyable beverage here.
