Served a surprisingly light amber color with a light wisp of white foam. Does not look very dubbel-esque.
Nose is taffy-licious, like a fresh bag off the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Very sweet with a little bit of Belgian yeast influence. Mild bready aroma with a notable banana and clove presence.
Candy, honey and taffy on the flavor with a bit of toasty malt and clove spiciness. Light bodied, which seems to be a common theme here at Kelly's. Might be the best brew I tried as far as taste is concerned. Still though, not very complex and caramel is the dominant flavor.

A: Very unfiltered caramel colored brew that poured a thin not very sticky head.
S: Aromas of banana, caramel and coconut. A strong yeast smell also arises in true Belgian style.
T: Severely malty like fresh grains, good taste of bananas, yeast, and raisin flavors. The taste stayed in the mouth hours after I finished the beer.
M/D: Light and soft feel that is very unlike what it looks like. Slow to drink but good taste saves the beer.

Pours an extremely cloudy brown. It almost looks like a funky vegetable and fruit drink blended together. Nose is yeasty, Flavor is slightly medium bodied, but goes quick. I almost want to say I get a bit of banana on the tongue? Feel is standard, though a part of it almost feels like it isnt all that clean. Drinkable, but not something I would go back to before trying everything else here. Bottom line: a good brew, especially for Albuquerque. But it is hard to stand up to all the Belgian stuff that is out there already.
