I was at the Texas Ale Project the past weekend downtown Dallas. I tried six beers (my wife drove). However, I've had many of their beers previously. They are available locally in stores. It is a very cozy and youth oriented place. They are a small lesser known brewery but they have a lot good beer, IPA, stouts, Amber Ales, fruit beer. The service was knowledgable and friendly. However, it was crowded, finding parking was difficult, and they had no food except for at temporary stands right outside the brewery, and that was perhaps not the best food. Overall this brewery was nice but more for young people than for us.

really cool spot here in the dallas area. they are making some decent beers, but for us it was more about the experience. they have a large and shaded outside seating area that looks brand new, clean, comfortable, and inviting. they have two spaces inside, a sitting area near a ping pong table thats in the brew house area, and then a windowed off tap room that houses a nice three sided bar and more seating. everything is new and clean. they had a good range of beers on, a mix of generic and inventive beers, some were better than others though. the wheat ipa was nothing a little off, but the red was outstanding, and then a whole bunch in between. some frat bros playing beer pong in there, but other than that everything was mellow and groovy. the service was amazing from the bartenders to the owner, who was happy to chat and share his story. i might have liked somewhat better execution on the beers themselves, but the place is cool and its good a neat vibe going on. very young crowd, hip you know, they must be doing something right. i will look forward to my next visit here for sure. definitely check out their red, that was the best of the bunch i thought.

Great facility, great beers and an awesome view of the city. Unfortunately, on my first visit it was a bit too cold to enjoy the beer garden, but it looks awesome and definitely a cool place to hang out in good weather. There's a ping pong table too! Definitely try the porter since they don't can that one yet. The wheat was great too and I'm not a wheat fan, it was a lot closer to an IPA than anything. If you haven't been, you should absolutely go!!
