The latest edition from Fernie's IPA series.
Appearance - Pours an amber with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, leafy, earthy, and floral hops, red currants, citrus and orange peel, pineapple, vinous aromas, grape musk, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus, leafy, earthy, and floral hops upfront. The red currants, vinous aromas, and grape musk follow suit. The citrus and orange peel, pineapple, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, fruits, and vinous characteristics lingering.
Overall - A sessionable IPA from Fernie. I wish the hops were a touch more pronounced in the taste but other than that a solid tipple.
