Poured from a can into a glass. A dark, if somewhat dull gold appearance. Plenty of visible carbonation. A quite foamy, if rapidly dissipating head. Not an overly hoppy smell, notes of pine. Taste is almost sweet, hoppier on the backend, but still more subtle than I would have anticipated. Strong apple flavor as you drink on. A little astringent, but balanced nicely by the flavor profile.
Overall: A very drinkable, not overly hoppy IPA. It's a good beer, if maybe not a great one.
