I stopped in for the first time for a beer release a few weeks back. small tasting room with a bar off to the left as you walk in a few tables to the right and the brewing area behind glass to the far right wall. They sell 4oz samples at the bar for onsite consumption and 32 growler cans to go. I am a big fan of the big can! They were pouring probably 5 or 6 on tap the day I was there. Oh they also make some damn fine beer so you need to get over there and check them out! Good service decent pricing, I'll be back.

The location is in a nice spot right downtown. Good for people watching. Service was decent - relatively attentive and knew the basics of each beer on draft that day. I thought the Citra pale was solid, but the other offerings I tried were pretty run-of-the-mill. I bought a Crowler of the Citra, had it 24 hours later, and the carbonation was still decent. Overall I think this place has the potential to make some great beer - they just need to dial in some recipes first. What I don't get is the downtown storefront location for what is essentially an in-and-out tasting room. State law only allows 1 two-ounce sample of each beer. After that, you can pretty much buy Crowlers or leave. No food or snacks, and no one I spoke to could provide any details of future plans. Perhaps the owners liked the format at (for example) Earth Eagle and thought, "Let's do the same thing in Dover." Definitely not the same experience. I think this place needs food and pint service if it wants to survive, but time will tell.

 

There is a few things I wish they had...but baby steps to do things right is much appreciated.

 

 

 

 

 

Very Friendly staff. I spoke with gabe the Brewer and he was awesome. Spoke to me about how the brewery came about. Also talked about each beer. When I first got there I was standing in the back and he asked if I needed help and brought me a taster of each and then got me 3 crowlers!! This place will be an awesome add to Dover!!
