Appearance: Pours a murky goldenstraw with a two finger head; good persistence but just a sporadic pattern of dots
Smell: Melon, berry and lime with grassy tones underneath
Taste: Lime, berry and melon forward with a grassy bitterness developing; very dry finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: Here is an APA that doesn't pretend to be an IPA; well done with a nice dry finish
Thanks, kevindp9, for the opportunity

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Smells of sweet tropical fruits, fresh hops, and light citrus. Tastes of light pineapples, papaya, orange zest, fresh and bitter hops, a really nice malt base, and some floral/grassy notes. Medium in both body and carbonation. Overall this is a wonderful hazy APA.

Can. Hazy, yellow body with a thick, white cap. Lovely aromas of floral and citrus, fresh hops. Juicy citrus fruit. Light to medium bodied and crushable. Terrific beer.

Better than 95% of the cloudy hoppy stuff out there. Yeah, I said it. I thought their "2" release was just a little too sweet/juicy, wanting some trace of bitterness to balance things out. Microburst manages that. As expected, tons of fruity esters, peach and mango, just the lightest touch of rindy bitterness. Really great body, light, fluffy. I think these kinds of beers really excel at this size -- 5.5%-6.5% or so. They don't end up overwhelmingly sweet and astringent, as the larger sized hazy IPAs are wont to do, and they retain a really nice light, drinkable body. This was a winner.
