Appearance: Pours coffee colored with a two finger ecru head; plenty of squiggles drape the tulip

Smell: Coffee tones dominate with a hint of chocolate underneath

Taste: Coffee forward with dark chocolate underneath; a hint of hops emerges to offset the sweeter elements

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; not as creamy as advertised

Overall: A flavorful, low ABV coffee stout with nice balance

Thanks, highdesertdrinker, for the opportunity

Pours dark brown with some tan hard, smells like coffee and dark malts. Tastes of Presta cold brew coffee which I’ve had many times and love it. A little milk, some chocolate, and a little hop to off set the roast. Surprisingly full bodied at 5.8, smooth, and goes down quick. This is thinner than it’s namesake FBS but has that rockin coffee flavor like the baby, and the 5.8 makes it a light touch that can be enjoyed at any time in any season. A worthy effort by the brewery that’s my local hop IPA fix, cheers!

Sweet chocolate coffee nose on this one! Taste follows with coffee and vanilla upfront and then the chocolate notes on finish. A little thin for a stout for my palate, but good!
