Not sure if this is a classic IPL but it is tasty as a pale lager. At 5.5 I like the feel of not downing a 7 percent lager like some IPLs. Solid beer.

12 ounce can - Charlie's Beer & Wine in Marietta, Georgia.
No apparent canned on/best by dating. Also, my apologies for simply having to find a style category for this to reside in, as, unlike RB, there is not a handy-dandy 'India Style Lager' style available.
Appearance: Pours a clouded, dulled orange-yellow body with a rather tall, lofty, near white head.
Smell: Citrusy, smelling everso softly of lemon and grapefruit and rounded with a soft touch of sweet-smelling barley. A bit light in the aromatics department, honestly.
Taste: Bready maltiness with a quick flush of sweetness. Citrusy, lemony and floral with a touch of earthy spiciness. Amply bitter, though it's relatively restrained when compared to other IPL's. Mildly tannic grain element pops in now and again akin to oversteeped black tea. Drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It's OK.
