This West Coast Double IPA is all that you want in a west coast IPA: punchy, hoppy, piney, citrusy and powerful! We took the Standy By recipe and boosted it to give the Vienna and caramel malt more of a presence that would otherwise be masked by the absurd amount of hops in this beer. With bittering, whirlpool and dry hop additions of Citra, Simcoe and Chinook, you get bold notes of pithy tangerine, noble pine and dank resin. Warning, this beer packs a punch!

Evergreen Terrace has a thick, off-white head and a translucent orange appearance, with bigger tan chunks, along with powdery bits. There is lots of heavy lacing. The aroma is of fruity hop resins and white bread crust. The flavor is of bold hop resin, sweet white bread, and apricot. Evergreen Terrace has a high-medium body and a sticky, mostly-dry finish.

16 fl oz pull-tab can:
8% ABV. 100 IBUs. "India Pale Ale." "Double West Coat IPA with Citra, Simcoe, Strata, and Michigan Chinook hops."
Bit boozy, to be honest. Doesn't showcase any of its hop varietals well. Getting stonefruit, booze, pineapple, warm tangerine...hop profile is mediocre and that just tanks the beer for me.
Drinks warm alcohol-wise and the absence of citrusy Citra, oniony/garlicky/tropical Simcoe, and floral Chinook is hard to look past. I do get some Strata but it's eclipsed by the booziness and tepid 2-row malt backbone.
A shrug of an attempt at an imperial IPA.

Accidentally nabbed this one again...fuck me.
16 fl oz can/$3.25 USD plus tax.
Better than my first try, but still on the warm side with a subpar hop profile for an ostensible imperial IIPA in the West Coast brewing tradition. Wastes its Citra varietals and fails to coax out the best its other hops have to offer.
Strata doesn't feel right in a beer billed as a more classic "West coast style" IIPA...the New World influence is evident and this isn't your throwback mid-late 2000s IIPA hop profile. I mean I'd rather drink Lagunitas Sucks, and that beer still tastes less boozy somehow.
