The arrival of our Marzen marks a fine time of the year where dark, malty lagers are king and the schnitzel rains from the sky! This malty treat is brimming with Munich, Vienna and caramel malt, giving notes of biscuit, toffee and toasty caramel with a firm but clean bitterness from the hop addition. Pouring a beautiful amber tone and exhibiting velvety mouthfeel, this traditional German Marzen brings you back to beautiful landscapes of the German countryside!

The pour is amber colored with a fair amount of carbonation. The mouth feel is medium to thick. The taste is rich roasted malts & molasses. In addition to, I noticed that there was no date on the can. Cheers! B-

16oz can. No dating information found.
Slightly cloudy, medium amber colored body. Brief one finger off white head. No lacing.
Aroma is caramel and woody malt.
Taste is roasted malt that lends itself to caramel and toffee flavors. Slight hop bitterness. Aftertaste is quite woody and similar to a vegetable such as asparagus.
Thinner mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
Looks good but the flavor is not one that draws a repeat performance.

A bit rough around the edges to be honest...
It's all there...the malt...the look...
Not a clean finish at all...really rough ... pretty muddled...
Looks gorgeous.. smells pretty good....tastes...well...definitely malty but finishes much like a cheap American lager....
Probably not a repeat buy for me...
