Aroma is dark/roasted malts, chocolate and slightly earthy. The flavor is chocolate/milk chocolate, dark/roasted malts, a small hint of brett/mostly strange carbonation and an acidic/mildly sweet finish.

Down with the Thickness has a very thin, ivory head, a dark brown (nearly black) appearance, and nominal lacing. The aroma is of faint dark malts and/or cocoa. The flavor is of sweetness, cocoa, vanilla, hazelnut, cream, and dark-roasted (not burnt) malt. Down with the Thickness has a heavy body and a dry finish.

Look: Pitch black. Two fingers of thick chocolate milk-colored head with good retention.
Smell: Mildly chocolatey, but not sweet. Nutty and spicy, slightly savory even.
Taste: Chocolate milk with a mild roast coffee component that becomes the prominent aftertaste. Sweetness is just subdued enough to avoid being cloying. No hop flavor or bitterness, really.
Mouthfeel: Thick and creamy with good carbonation.
Overall: A fantastic dessert beer. Great to crack open before bed.

Poured a black body with two-finger dark-brown head that slowly dies and no lace is left. The aroma is rather nutty and there is a good amount of chocolate in there as well. Smooth, medium to heavy body, a lactic slickness that makes it easy to drink, well-hidden ABV, has a nutty dryness underneath a chocolate and vanilla sweetness. Beer has great balance and is a dangerous sipper b/c it drinks easy yet starts to pack a punch.
