We made a refreshing sour that makes you want to get on a float and make a music video about it! We took pineapple and pear and mixed it with a healthy amount of lavender to create a beautiful melody of tart, fruity and floral. With harmonious notes of sweet pineapples and pears mixed with the soothing lavender, this beer makes you want to sing I’m on a float, whoa!

16 oz can, no date printed that I can see, but purchased in February of 2021 from the "new releases" shelf.
Batch 19 pint glass.
A pretty murky blonde emerges in the glass with a finger of head that implodes to a fingernail shortly after developing. No lace.
Funky aromas of dryer sheets and fresh laundry - which apparently is the lavender (now you know what scent I use) with milder notes of canned pears and pineapple sorbet. I gotta say all the elements are here. Slight OJ. Points for originality.
Flavor doesn't translate as well. It's refreshing as can be, but the lavender is somewhat too natural - very plant-like - with only hints of peppery pineapple and soft pear sherbet. Makes me wonder if they actually added lavender fabric softener to the tank. I think I'll keep drinking it though.
Feel is juicy all the way home. It's a can of juice. But no creaminess or lactic acid going on, just juicy IPA-like stuff. Soft carbonation. No heat which is good, and a mildly carbonated crisp finish.
Overall, coming off much like a Gain laundry explosion in aisle 11, it's not a repeat purchase for me, but it reminds me a lot of the Gulf. Lavender was an interesting choice, but too weird here unfortunately - and I really have no ideas on how to make it less weird. It is what it is.

A very fruity Berliner...
...I loved the haze - golden with hints of orange. Smell was muted, mouthfeel was astringent, and the taste was way more sour than I expected. Collectively, this didn't make it bad, its just not as good as I thought it would be. Overall, it's decent, not spectacular nor memorable, but decent enough.
