Pours black with a dense, creamy dark tan head that provides maximum lacing, which pleasantly surprised me, because most big stouts don’t provide a lot of lacing in my experience.

The nose has some roasty char notes, but is all about the ginger, clove, cinnamon, and allspice. The taste hast that roasty char as well, and the ginger and cinnamon are prominent as well. I just wish the allspice was a little less prominent and the vanilla had more space to operate because that would’ve place this firmly in “world class” territory, IMHO.

The mouthfeel was world class, again IMHO, very rich and creamy and decadent. Overall, this was a delightful drinking experience, and a fantastic beer, IMHO.

Man, this is like Christmas in a fuckin bottle (can), the artwork is at least meme worthy, pours a deep black w a frothy brown head, it smells like granny's baking up some goodies, and not the GOOD goodies either, I'm not a big fan of the cinnamon and ginger spice thing and this one packs a good bit initially but filled in with a malty dark roast coffee and vanilla (oak ?) back that leaves a nice slick, flavor filled finish with a little bit of booze on the back end as well, too bad it's 81° outside,I would have really enjoyed this much better freezing my ass off next to fire

Poured a black body with minimal khaki head and touch of lace. Aroma has ginger, or at least spice, along with some bread but is mostly a sugary and spicy aroma. The booze is hidden in this light-bodied and slick beer that has some cookie sweetness and touches of spicy dryness to add balance. A little thin and not as sweet as I thought but still a good beer to have.
