A blend of 4 years/batches of our award-winning Brownie Batter Imperial Sweet Stout. This year's blend took it a step further by including four years worth of batches, which lead to an incredible layering of flavors, barrel character and decadent chocolate.

A: Poured Jet Black with a light brown head. When the foam of the head is brown, you know this will be a big beer.

S: The aroma of this beet is quite complex. You get hints of the wood from the barrel combined with the smell of brownies and dessert.

T: This is a desert beer. I tasted the rich chocolate flavor of the malts along with the oak the barrel gave off. Very nicely done.

M: Heavy-bodied beer. Beers this rich are meant for sipping.

O: Very nice brew overall. 4.25/5.

Look - black and thick with some tan head
Smell - metallic chocolate
Taste - chocolate metallic taste
Feel - thick creamy almost no carb
Overall - anything with metallic is just not good. Wondering if it was infected

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short tan head that rapidly dissipated, leaving only a minuscule ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of chocolate and brownie batter are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very chocolatey. Little to no alcohol is bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and very slick on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found that the combination of batches of this beer lended some complexity to the taste without the addition of extra ingredients. It is very easy to drink considering its strength.
