Look: Dark, clear gold. Virtually no head.
Smell: Clean, like a lager. Sweet malt and a little grassy hops.
Taste: Mild, biscuity malt with a chewy bitterness. Slight hop flavor. Savory. Like licking a penny.
Mouthfeel: Full body with very minimal carbonation.
Overall: Technically this is an Australian sparkling ale, a category that currently doesn’t exist on Beer Advocate. It’s an interesting cross between lager and ale.
