This was a special event beer for a Florida Tales Through Ales event made from sorghum, Ceylon tea, honey, and Baharat spices.
Look: Cloudy orange with a thin ring of off-white head.
Smell: Honey dominates everything else. It smells like a pastry.
Taste: Gentle honey, light bread, and a mild complexity from the spice. Generally very mild and relatively sweet.
Mouthfeel: Decently full body. Extremely little carbonation from the yeast.
Overall: This is quite literally a one-of-a-kind beer meant to emulate ancient recipes. It’s a very unique experience that barely fits the typical profile of beer.
