A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a half finger high beige colored head that died down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge, some patches of bubbles on the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of chocolate are present in the nose along with hints of marshmallows.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional flavors of roasted malts in the initial taste, which are contrasted by flavors of marshmallows and hints of associated sweetness towards the finish.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the complexity in the taste of this porter; the marshmallows makes for a nice addition.
