Just had a bottle dated (best before!) 1985. Wasn't sure if it had kept OK - the cork nearly disintegrated - but although some of the condition had been lost, the nose and flavour were superb. Malt and caramel dominated, off-set by subtle hop and lingering cardamon(?). Worth far more than the £3 paid my mate at an antique centre in Dorchester!!
