Clear darkish amber brew-- not a speck of sediment in the bottle. Warm and a little malty with just a little of the usual drying in the finish. Slightly sweet. Flabby body.A bit of fruit and grain flavor.
Overall this is a very simple sort of Belgian-esque beer. I would not say that it resembles a Bière de garde, but it's a decent quaff. From the swing-top bottle purchased at a French supermarket.
