Copenhagen 13/9 2020. 75 cl corked bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv. Black matte bottle with print. Looks like some white and yellow sticks falling around a "Pale" in white and a "Ale" in yellow.
Pours unclear golden amber with a big white head. Settle as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light boozy sweet odor mingling with citric notes.Sweet malts, honey, caramel, grains and bread. Citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a while. Light touch of sour citrus in the finish.
Nice citric touch to lighten things up.

Pours clear light copper with medium head that dissipates with a few streaks of lace. Nose is somewhat hoppy, but also quite grassy and a little grainy. Flavor has some light malt and grassy hops with medium bitterness, but also a slight off flavor/astringency. Overall, not too good.
