Paris 31/3 2026. 33 cl bottle from CarreFour, Rue de Bercy, Paris 12e. Off-white label in La Charnue’s usual brand design.

Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as s thin it frothy layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty taste mingling with sour grains and a yeasty scent. Pale malts and a whiff of musty cellar.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light boozy undertone. Finish is semi-dry.

Decent and not too boozy Triple.
