Copenhagen 3/6 2024. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Light brown can with a horizontal very dark green band.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a big dense white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intensewith sweet and almost sugary malt odor mingling with sharp scent of alcohol. Sweet pale malts, bread and bit of sharp metallic alcohol.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, soft and flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intensewith a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and rough. Abit sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and boozy.
Sweet Bière de Garde with sharp boozy edge.
