The black sheep.
Scent is very sweet...seems that there is a great deal of unfermented sugars left in here. Murauer is a solid brewery (by standards) and right off the boat this beer is not living up to them. Appearance is of flat water downed cola...whatever head comes from an aggressive pour doesn't last very long. Taste is just sweet. Nothing offering any sort of balance. Just sweet sugars. Carbonation is light to null. Nothing to make one want to order another. Truthfully, from what Ive seen and understood, many 'doppelmalz' and 'stiftsbrau' here are more often used for cooking than drinking.
