A: Pours an opaque straw color with a white ring of head.
S: Orange blossom honey is the dominant scent along with some malted wheat and barley, citric hoppiness and some floral aromas in a mild nose.
T: Wheat and nutty malt are strong in the first sips, but it becomes drier and more citric toward the finish in later sips. Citrus peel and floral notes come through strong and dominant in later sips. A touch of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom come in as the beer warms a bit, as well a a touch of honey, all of which linger on the palate from the middle of the taste to the finish and aftertaste, which are quite pleasant.
M: Light bodied and smooth. Very drinkable.
O: Overall, this beer is quite well balanced, not in your face, but not watery, it lacks a strong honey character, but that rarely comes through in beer. Fruit isn't very strong, nor is the overall hop/ester character, which would delightfully compliment this beer. I'd recommend it.
