Very good beer. Dark, brownish purple edges, good lacing. Smell is roasty, slightly sweet, slightly smoky. Tastes of roasty dark malt, bitter coffee, slight chocolate, earthy tones. Mild bodied, not oily, not thick, not boozy. Very good. Thanks Jason!

The beer pours a deep, thick black with a short tan head.
The smell is dark chocolate and char.
The taste is char, tobacco, and leather up front with a nice bitter dark chocolate finish. It's a nice balance.
The mouthfeel is thicker than expected with medium carbonation.
Overall this is a nice beer, but a little too much char/leather for me. I prefer something closer to Expedition than TenFidy. This is the base beer for Nighty Night. Very solid beer.
