On-tap at Lost Forty Brewery, Little Rock, AR
A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with just a thin ring of off white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lactose are present in the nose along with notes of dark malts.
T: The taste has flavors of dark and chocolatey malts along with notes of lactose.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This milk stout is very chocolatey in both the smell and taste.
Serving type: on-tap

A: Pours a near opaque black color. A dense two finger tan head forms. With good retention and light lace left behind.
S: Big roasted malts up front. Coffee, chocolate, with a touch of char even smoke. Baked bread even.
T: Like the nose, big roasted malts up front. The coffee, chocolate, and char all mingles really well. A bit of lactic sweetness balances out the roasted character. I like this.
M/O: A medium to full body. With moderate carbonation, that turns ultra smooth creamy. Really enjoyable to drink. This is something I would like to come back to again and again.
Another really solid offering from Lost Forty. Perfectly to style, and something that is just enjoyable to drink and come back to.

Many thanks to jvgoor3786 for this can.
A - Dark brown to pitch black pour with a thin, dense toffee colored lacing. Carbonation is low.
S - Some char, delicate smokiness, dark chocolate roast, some creaminess.
T - All the flavors blend well and are not overpowering or subdued - just right down the middle. Chocolate and cream. Has a fudge-like finish with creme.
M - Big medium body with some thinness on the back end.
O - Solid and easy drinking. Milk Stouts aren't my gig but would definitely drink this again.

A 12oz. can with no visible date sent by trusted BA jvgoor3786 poured in a pint style glass.
Look- Pours oily and dark brown bordering black leaving a generous finger of light brown foam. It slowly settles to a ring around the glass with no lacing left behind.
Smell- Dark fudge brownie, mild roast, lactose sugar and a hint of char.
Taste- Dark chocolate and roast with some tobacco, malted milk, and slight char in the finish.
Feel- It's slightly creamy but rather thin for the style.
Overall- A solid low abv. milk stout that smells like a fudge brownie and tastes like a fluffy chocolate cake. The thin feel was the only 'negative' for me and may be attributed to the rather low abv. A tasty dessert where you can indulge and have two!

Forest Queen has a medium-to-thick, creamy tan head, a very dark brown, opaque appearance, with some red and brown, on the edges, as direct sunlight shines through it. Aroma is of black cherries, intense, dark malt, and milk liqueur. Taste is of all those elements, with rich chocolate and cream. Mouthfeel is at the lower edge of heavy, and Forest Queen finishes on the drier side.

Pours dark brown with a thin, quickly dissipating one-finger head. The smell is sweet caramel and milk chocolate stout. The taste is very sweet. There is some roasted malts, milk chocolate, and caramel. The mouthfeel is thin and heavily carbonated. I'm nicely surprised by this beer. Nice flavor, easy drinking, and sweet.

Pours near black, with a thin quickly dissipating caramel colored head, when poured on draft. Notes of lactose in keeping with this beers style, with additional notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Effervescence of coffee and roasted barley. Mouthfeel lacks a bit. This milk stout is very thin, with a slightly bitter follow up. Overall, this is one that I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a good stout.
