Many thanks to jvgoor3786 for this can!

A - Hazy dark orange amber color with thin lacing and no carbonation.

S - Sweet toasted caramel and biscuity on the nose with some light nutty earthiness.

T - Toasty caramel malt with some caramel sweetness, a little earthy, slightly nutty, some light citrus. Nice balanced finish.

M - Medium body and a little wet on the finish up front before completely finishing out with some dryness.

O - This is a solid American version of the style.

A: Pours a clear dark reddish color. A two finger beige head forms with good retention. I would like some more lace for the style though.
S: Kind of a nondescript caramel malt sweetness. This is a fairly neutral nose, that I don't get a lot from. I always love simple styles, but out side of some sweetness I don't get much.
T: Like the nose, mostly just caramel malts that leaves a lingering sweetness. Not overbearing, but more than I like for the style. Some others might really enjoy this, though I don't find a lot of nuance that the better examples of the style have.
M/O: A light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Easy enough to drink, and I can come back to this again though not among my favorites of the style.

An OK sweet Americanized version of an Oktoberfest. Not bad at all, but I prefer more authentic versions of the style, and think Lost Forty does better to begin with.

Pours a slightly hazy semi clear brown with a wispy white head and no lacing. Slightly toasted nutty smell. Light bodied, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Tasty caramel and toasted malt flavor. Moderate hops. Semi dry finish. Very balanced sweet caramel toasty nutty brew. Very good seasonal from Lost Forty.

Arkansas's best Oktoberfest, Cloudy dirty gold, taste and smell true to Oktoberfest style, medium carbonation, higher alcohol than most of this style.

If you want proof that Lost Forty really knows how to make world class malty lagers here's more proof: Pours to an amber orange color and creamy off white head that falls to a thin ring and leaves minimal lace. Aroma is fresh, sweet toasty, honey and caramel from the malts and a subtle floral/spicy hint of noble hops. Flavor is malty yet balanced. There's enough hop bitterness backbone (frontbone?) to stand up to the rich biscuity, toasty, sweet malts. Toasty, caramel finish. Mouthfeel is spot on. Overall, this O-fest/Marzen kicks serious ass and runs laps around the local competition (Sorry, Diamond Bear). This is a style I revere and study. Flavorwise, this is world class without a doubt. And the best-tasting o-fest I've ever had from a can.

Pours an effervescent amber with 2 fingers of pillowy cream colored head. Good lacing, head retention kind of falls apart, average

S: Bready, caramel, toastyness emerges as this warms

T: Rich brown bread, caramel & dryness up front, some woody hops as well. Caramel, bready dryness, toastyness & a little bit of leafy & herbal hop as this warms. Finishes toasty, with toffee & a little woody bitterness

MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, great balance

Drinks too easy, one the best of this style I have tried in a long time
