Poured from a twelve ounce can, the body is an apricot yellow with fluffy white head. Light lacing.
Taste follows nose as this beer is as close to an apricot beer as I could imagine. That's not a knock. I love apricots. A tropical hop bill is balanced by a sturdy malt base. The ABV is well masked. A light bitterness rises at finish. Pleasant. ABV well hidden.
Mouthfeel is very satisfying: soft and light.

Incredibly fruity and tart on the palate. There's no mention of any actual fruit used here, so I confess to being confused. Perhaps it's the sweetness (and booziness) of the huge malt base merging with a very fruity hop profile. It really does taste like a fruited I(II)PA.
Beyond the confusion, it's a very tasty and well-crafted beer - albeit an unattractive one, with very little head production, a flat, still body, and plenty of visible particulate out of suspension.

12oz can courtesy of Russpowell. No obvious canning date. WTF is a Tanooki Suit?
Poured into a teku, this was a semi-opaque mango color, with about an inch of off-white foam on top, which mostly dropped away after 3-4 minutes. Said head was relatively easy to recreate by agitating the glass. Spotty lace.
Nose was of fruity smelling hops. Mangos, tangerines and oranges were what was most closely resembled.
Fruit forward hop flavor up front. It's sweet, but not too terribly so. On the back end there's a wisp of something resembling vanilla, but it's very slight. Also a very slight bit of booziness at the swallow - the only hint of the TIPA level abv
Soft, lightly creamy mouth feel. Oats included in the malt bill? Don't know, but wouldn't be surprised by the texture.
A very nice fruity triple ipa. It's a little sweet for me to want to session, and that, combined with the high alcohol, means it'd be a one and done beer for me if I stumbled across it on tap somewhere. Sadly, there is no chance of that. Thoroughly enjoyable stuff from the capital city of Arkansas. Thanks, Russ!

Pours a hazy tangerine color with a creamy white head that’s gripping the glass. Beautiful hazy. The nose is crammed with tangerine rind and ripe tangerine aromas, and a nice dollop of mango as well.
The tangerine and mango flavors are a magnificent flavor combo, especially when a smidge of creamy oats join in - and there’s nary a hint of the 10.5% ABV until you rush through the can and stand up. Absolutely delicious and dangerous stuff.
The mouthfeel is substantial and on the softer side. This REALLY well done from a brewery I really enjoy.

Pours a hazed honey color with one finger of eggshell colored head. Pretty good head retention & lacing
S: Nice tropical & citrus notes
T: Grapefruit, dryness, oranges, & a kiss of green melon up front, some nectarine notes up front. Dryness, grapefruit tangerine & green melon with just a kiss of pine once this beer warms up. Finishes a little dry with lime, green melon & nectarine notes, plus a little tangerine
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, lovely balance
Easily one of the best new beers I've had from these guys in forever, so easy to drink, you slowly realize how lethal this beer is...
