this is an interesting one, on tap at first draft in rino, its sort of a weird hybrid, some english elements and some belgian ones oddly enough, but it comes together rather well if this is what you like, a maltier light drinking beer thats got some real yeast character and less of the hops. its got some haze, and is darker than expected for a beer presented as a blonde ale in some corners of the internet. lightly copper colored even extremely active on the head, pure white, and with a neat aroma that has some english bready and also belgian fruity notes, its a hard one to place and the taste doesnt make it any easier! sort of floral to start, not without its hops, but this appears to be a phenomenon of the yeast, light grassy and peppery notes, some malt heft, bran muffin, raisin, but not real sweet, and sort of english in character from a grain perspective. esters in the finish make it more belgian again, biscuit notes, light dried fruits, medium body. its a curious little beer, not perfectly in balance, but in line with some of the others i have had from these guys. quite distinct, and well enough put together. not aware of any quite like it, but that didnt make me love it...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
