i think its really cool that these guys are canning now, they look really sharp too, but what the heck is this beer, its literally a rotting green shade in the glass with no head at all, this is not what these are supposed to look like, trust me! yuck, really unappealing look to it, but the aroma and flavor are nice, with a bright citrusy hop complexion, citra and mosaic and some others, slightly vinous, some obvious orange and lemon, and a green vegetal bitterness as well, i just cant get past the way this looks. it feels thick too, close to flat, they really could tidy this up a bit and spruce up the bubbles, it would be a way better beer, but i do think they got the hop part correct, its bitter and also dry hoppy fruity, well done there. it seems off from fully fresh, and this color, its just repulsive. hazy ipa is everywhere now, no surprise these guys are doing it too. i like the flavor here, but thats about all, it really needs some refinement and honing in. it was enough to keep me from trying their other hazy cans while i was in last night...

Appearance: hazy IPA? Haze does exist, but more on par with chill haze, or a not super clear west-coast IPA. This is the least hazy hazy IPA I’ve had. The head is an off-white ¼-finger with fair retention.
Aroma: super-fresh hops, like sticking your nose in a handful of off-the-bine hops. Melon, pineapple and orange.
Flavor: super-fresh hop flavor; oily, juicy. What I’m trying to say is damn good! This beer takes hops to a still-higher level. Long lasting. The hop oils coat your mouth. Orange zest late in the finish.
Mouthfeel: heav(ier)-medium. A bit unbalanced toward the heavy side for its 6.5% abv and style. Spicy in the finish like a mild salsa. Nice. The hops are present from start late into the finish.
Overall: this is superb! I’m confident in Fermaentra, but this far exceeded my expectations. So hoppy and juicy. I’ve already bought more.
