On tap at the Bräuhaus. It pours a pale golden color with a soft, foamy white head. The aroma is gentle but inviting, with notes of fresh bread, light grain, and a touch of floral or herbal hops and is just the balanced simplicity expected from a this kind of beer. On the palate, Schwangau Helles (?) is smooth and refreshing. The flavor leans toward lightly sweet malt, with hints of biscuit and honey, balanced by a very mild hop bitterness. It finishes crisp, clean, and dry, making it incredibly easy to enjoy. The mouthfeel is soft and slightly creamy, and the beer feel well-crafted. It is called a Helles but clearly not. I am not sure what this is but I can say that I liked it.
