This is a solid, good example of the American DIPA that most American craft brewers are making these days. Persistent hop presence, solid carbonation, a little earthy, balancing malt presence, just a touch of harshness.
I thought this beer could benefit from more citrus-y hops or wheat malt to soften the profile, but my wife loved it the way it is.
Mouthfeel was a little over carbonated, but mostly right.
Smell was hops and malt. Nothing to distinguish the beer, like in the really to tier DIPAs.
All-in-all, solid without being earth shattering
