Pours a crystal clear amber-golden color, with a big, fluffy white head.

Smells of toffee accompanied wheat, a note of caramel, grains and a herbal quality. Atop this, there is a layer of copper infused dough, establishing a refreshing feeling on the nose.

Drinks outstandingly smooth and unusual thick for a Pils, with a well nuanced sparkly finish, showcasing a light bodied, refreshing beer.

Tastes of bitter hops from the very beginning, coated up by toffee and wheat, soothed by an aqueous note. Turns a tad sweeter after the powerful beginning, allowing more wheat and toffee to unfold onto the tongue, gently entangled into the flavors by an uprising effervescence. Finishes utmost dry though, making you forget about the sweeter parts of the beer for a moment, while allowing them back at the end, calmed and mellow among the hops.

This is lovely throughout, incredibly well balanced, with a prominent hop dryness. Given that the bottle is four days old at time of consumption the hops might stand out even more, nontheless, they are carefully integrated into the overall refreshing appearance of the beer.

Tastes way dryer than I remembered it with a fantastic, soft and rustic wheat antagonist. This creates a long lasting, complex balanced refreshment, which stays on the palate longer than many higher abv beers I‘ve had. One week old, this is intense as far as its dry hop impact goes, putting so many high praised Pilsener to shame, without even getting close to endanger its balance. This is awesome, world class even, I dare say they changed their receipe a bit, but only for the better.
