Draft at CopenRoss. Bright golden, slight haze, small creamy head. Aroma, while featuring the cukes, does obscure the grainy base. Taste has the cukes more prominently up front. Light, tasty and perfect accompianment to a club sandwich.

a cleverly named kolsch type with real cucumbers from these guys, super delicate and clean, im sure the base beer is close to perfect on its own on a hot summer day, but the natural cucumber addition is really tastefully done, and i liked this quite well overall. rarely with these flavored kolsch types or with cucumber beers in general do i want to drink more than one, but this is an all day sort of thing, especially on a hot day, its the essence of refreshment, dry and bubbly and with just a little german character in the malt and yeast still which prevent this from being one dimensional like it might if it were a similarly light blonde ale or something, smart! there is almost no body to this, its super minimal, almost watery, but the high carbonation keeps it from feeling that way, effervescent and quenching. the cucumber must be real, i get the green waxy peel and the wet earthy flesh, slightly bitter like some noble hops might do, great synergy there in the finish. this is a real guzzler, but just because its a pounder dont overlook that its also a well made beer underneath. lots of these arent, and this one stood out to me. well done again from these folks!
