Mango and habanero have such natural affinities for one another, their combination is nearly irresistible to even the brewers. With this specific duo in mind, the Nowhere In Particular ale makers dash their sour ale series with the fruit and spice for a complex and varying set of tastes.
Pale gold and carrying a faint haze, the ale's arid and creamy froth breams with sourness. White grape, cider, green berries, lime and lemon frame a sour and fruity perfume. Its taste is faint of bready whole wheat, fresh baked starch and powdered sugar. Light warheads play out as the ale embarks on the middle palate.
Fading sweetness allows for the mango fruit to apply a tropical flare onto the session. Peppery taste and sweet fruitiness is faint of sherbet and black pepper. A hint of smoke offers a robust taste that joins with a light salinity and mineral crispness for an emboldened woody, mesquite character.
Medium light for sour ale, the beer's strong tartness bridges over to sourness as the ale dries in finish. Its fruitiness and hints of breadiness return for a pastry-like aftertaste even while the mild simmer of capsaicin warms the gullet in a short, crisp and mostly clean aftertaste.
