Batch 006 is a big tropical punch to your tongue. Made during the harsh of winter as a means of flavorful escape to the warmer climates of Australia. With the abundant use of Ella, Vic Secret, and Topaz, Batch 006 smells like a garden of mangoes off the shores of the Great Barrier Reef and seeps flavors of apricot and papaya. A soft bitterness balances the malt bill and allows the fruitiness of the hops to really shine.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Cloudy medium golden orange pour. Two fingers of foamy white head. Great lacing.
S: Dank tropical fruits... mango, pineapple.. juicy and floral.
T/F: Rich caramel malts. Something of a juice bomb. Fruity with mango, passionfruit, pineapple, and citrus. A bit floral... great balance between sweet and bitter. Medium in body. Well carbonated.. crisp on the tongue followed by oily. The finish is bitter and citrus.
O: A fantastic DIPA, and liked it enough that I convinced the bottle shop owner in Colorado to ship a case to me in PA. Not sure why this isn't rated higher... just awesome.

Look- A deep mixture of orange and brown that can be seen through somewhat so.
Smell- I smell a nose full of hops with a noticeable amount of caramel.
Taste- The taste is a sweet and very fruity one.
Feeling- There's a light carbonation with no real kick from the alcohol.
Overall- A beer that is very unique with the hoppy smell that contradicts the taste which didn't say much about hops in it. The taste was instead different and wasn't matching the smell. Overall, the parts of this beer add up to an almost "good" beer.

Dark amber body, slightly hazy; thick, creamy, white head. Heavy, butterscotch aroma. Butterscotch sweetness in the flavor; strong hop bitterness; noticeable alcohol presence. Heavy body; lots of residual sugars; boozy warmth.
Too much butterscotch and caramel smell and flavors make this a pretty one-sided beer. Heavy-handed and overly-sweet.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy burnt golden, almost amber; small off-white head that fades leaving nice bubbly retention and decent lacing. The aromas are sweet. It's citrus and malt forward. Lots of orange and caramel. Some hints of vanilla cream in the mix. The flavors seem to basically follow the nose. Lots of orange and caramel malts. Lots of apple notes almost giving it some cider characteristics. It's on the sweeter side for the style. Decent hop bitterness and hop flavors, but the malt backbone edges the hops. Finishes juicy. There's a mild warmth, but the alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. Slightly fluffy. It's ultimately smooth.
This is an interesting DIPA. It's sweet and malty with a unique hop profile. I'm personally not crazy about this one.

12 oz can. Pours hazy dark golden orange tea color with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet sugary fruit and some green hops with a bit of wort.
The flavor is very sweet and sugary caramel malt with some fruit and a bit of a bitter worty finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, it's overly sweet and under-attenuated with the hops in the background.
