Thanks to DonnieT79 for this, my Mystery Beer from NBS BIF #11. Reviewed blind. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fairly cloudy/hazy straw yellow color with ¾ inch of white head that had decent retention and light lacing
The aroma had a light grain base, with bright hops (mostly frooty, but some pine and grapefruit) dominating.
Fairly similar on the tongue, with definite alcohol heat at the back end.
The body was on the light side of medium, smooth, and had semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, once I got used to the alcohol bite on the finish.
Overall, a nice beer that I suspect is in the APA-IPA range. Whatever it is, it’s worth a shot if you see it.
