16 ounce can, canned on 01/13/2022. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that didn't stick around for too long. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like peppermint, dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee and roasted malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt, earthy and dark bready flavors. Good amount of mint but it doesn't overpower the other flavors at all. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit slick and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good overall mint stout, definitely worth trying if you're into mint brews!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a dark blackish brown
with a moderate head of kahki foam that settles to a thin ring with nice light lacing.
Nose of dark chocolate, mint, subtle dark roasted malts, light vanilla, and faint cream.
Flavors surpass the nose with a fine presentation of dark bakers cocoa, cream, nicely
balanced mint, dark coffee, and some dark fruit notes of blue and raspberry. Nice
mouth feel; medium full to full body, smooth, coating, rich, light carbonation, and
a bitter malt and lightly mint laced finish.

Overall----take note of this one, it is balanced and presented well.
Is it the flavors I look for in a brew, no, but this is presentable and
well thought out.

Excellent!

Cheers

Canned on 1/13/22. 16oz can poured into a tulip.

Pours almost black; very small khaki head that fades leaving little retention and okay lacing.

The aromas are malt forward. Mild hints of vanilla, cocoa and peppermint.

The flavors are bold but balanced. Lots of dark chocolate leading the way. The peppermint is subtle but definitely comes through. There's a decent amount of coffee. There's also a decent amount of dark fruits. More hints of vanilla in the mix. Mild spiciness. Subtle sweetness with a decent bitterness. Malts do their thing. Mild warmth in the finish, but the alcohol is ultimately well hidden considering the ABV.

Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, smooth and slightly creamy.

This is a pretty solid stout. None of the ingredients come off as the star, but they're all easy to pinpoint. The peppermint, cacao nibs, coffee and vanilla all come through. Not bad at all.

I've had four other Nowhere in Particulars, and this one is far better than the others.

It doesn't start that well. A typical stout black, with little head but constant fizz. The aroma is a wonderful boozy mix as is the taste. Many subtle tastes blend nicely. It goes down well, with a mouthful of lingering goodness.

Recommended. This is the best of theirs so far.

1 Pint can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of mocha head that leaves no lacing.

I smell some peppermint. Chocolate and vanilla are there. I even smell the coffee.

The coffee and peppermint open up as the beer warms. The flavors are a bit muddled.

Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel

Not bad. I like a peppermint stout. This was good but not my favorite. Worth a try though.

Well it appears i'm the first to rate this beer on this lovely website. You can call me a pioneer. Got this, must've been brand spankin new, in a 4 pack for about $15 from my favorite store. There are ducks or some creature all over the can, and Nowhere In Particular's signature skull logo. Didn't know this place was an Ohio beer until I looked at the label and saw it. Ohio pride represent! Cracked it open and doused it out into my snifter. Dark brown with an inch of tan head. The head is gone after about a minute leaving a very still, motionless beer. There doesn't appear to be any signs of carbonation life. Well the smell is not too appealing to me. It smells like the wet canned cat food i open for my cats every morning. Kind of a vague processed meat scent with maybe a little chocolate to harsh it down. The taste is certainly more pleasing than the scent, as it's a taste of chocolate and coffee, tampered evenly throughout with a wash of light and subtle peppermint. It's a little like a peppermint mocha from Starbucks, which i happen to quite like. Mouthfeel is somewhat watery with very light carbonation. Overall it's decent, given that it's my first peppermint stout i've ever had i don't have much to compare it to, but it's decently drinkable and at 12.7% that's a good deal at this price point.
