Fuller than a traditional stout, yet not overwhelming. As Klemp put it “contemplative enough to consume as a nightcap, and modest enough to session over.”

Appearance - Pours a dark black with four fingers of frothy tan head that leaves some poofy lace on the glass.
Smell - roasted malts, cocoa, coffee bean, earthy and leafy hops, oats, dark fruits, and earthy yeast.
Taste - roasted malts, cocoa, and coffee bean upfront. The earthy and leafy hops, oats, dark fruits, and earthy yeast round out the brew,
Mouthfeel - Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes silky smooth with the roasted malts, cocoa, and coffee bean lingering.
Overall - A superb oatmeal stout that delivers all on all fronts. It is pretty light considering it's a stout. A flavourful oatmeal stout that is a stand out in the category.
