Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout
2019 Barrel holder release
So fundamentally powerful it will challenge your Standard Theory of beer!
We’ve harnessed a world of flavour within the confines of this bottle. One year in the making, the natural richness of our Russian Imperial Stout has levelled up after resting within previously used oak bourbon barrels to create a sensory experience that is just right.

Category 12 Brewing 'Quantum' @ 10.5% , served from a 500 ml bottle's , 2019 & 2020 vintage's
A-pour is black from bottle to glass with a small tan head leaving a spotty lace along the tulip
S-oak barrel aged ,
T-smoky tasting barrel aged RIS , dry finish
MF-ok/mild carbonation , full bodied , smoothness missing
Ov-possible good beer , give it a couple of years in the cellar , still rough after a year
