A: Lightly sweet pils malt character, slight fruity ester with moderately light raspberry aroma.
A: Deep purplish-red color, slightly hazy with a moderate white head. There is a bit of lacing in the glass.
T: Light malt sweetness, with a moderately light raspberry sweet tartness. The beer has a semi-dry finish and a bit of alcohol in the aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied with moderately light carbonation. Slightly tart, but not acidic.
O: Pretty solid; the strong golden ale base is pretty evident and the raspberries accentuate rather than dominant. This beer would be even better if it was a touch funkier and a little sourer.
