Fairly clear brown, a lighter autumnal hue, with a bubbly khaki head that leaves all kinds of spongy lacing behind.
Chocolatey, far more than most browns, with a little nutty, leafy accenting quality.
The medium-full body is silky but for a fine crackly carbonation that comes to a mild, semi-bitter woodiness that's drying in the finish.

I just had this beer for the first time this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised. When I had it, it had decent, white foam and a great brown color. The taste was quite hop-forward (but not too much!), with a nice, malty finish. It had a very smooth mouthfeel, as well. I'd drink this beer again, for sure!
