they really packed this with natural honey character, almost drinks like a health tonic or something, its insanely floral and raw and natural honey forward, neat that its such a low alcohol beer and that its as dry as it is, usually for this much honey taste they tend to be sweet, but not here, this is fermented down pretty well, not quite crisp, but certainly not sugary either. a little haze to it, a little more heft and body than a lot of blonde types have, but i appreciate that, and i am happy to be both tasting and feeling grain in this style. i get a little yeast too, some light doughy character to it, earthy overall, all nice support for the honey, which really drives this. wildflowers for sure, dried grasses and herbs, a little citrus pop too maybe, a hint of canned pineapple even, the honey brings so much to this and it seems like the essence of high summer to me. perhaps not expertly refined, but it doesnt need to be, and overall i was stoked on and impressed by this. cool place too doing some really ambitious beers, definitely check it out when you are in this special little part of the world! one of the more compelling blondes i have had in some time...

Blondes call be really blame, but this has alot of complexity from the hops and gunnery like honey with a Curran finish Wich is a challenge with a blonde.
