Appearance – thin layer of head over a deep yellow very hazy body. Seems like a trend these days.
Aroma – strong citrus, hints of pine, some tropical fruits in the back
Taste – a big blast of bittering hops followed by nice caramel malts beneath.
Mouthfeel – a bit slick and oily, but smooth going down.
Overall – A solid beer but average. Not as well balanced as I would have liked.

I purchased a 1 pint 9.7oz bottle of IDB Stud Finder at my local for 30% off sale local the craft brewers. This DIPA features "Topaz, an Australian hop standing alongside a variety of American favorites."
The bottle poured 2 full cloudy gold colored glassfuls with a nice foam head which laced the glass until gone. I was not taken aback by any new hop aromas of the brew and the taste is smooth and flows easily over the palate.
I'm still looking at a fully laced glass (ratings) as i finish the review and the last beer. My first IDB was a Baby Maker that went so well with a burger at the mall last winter. You can't beat local freshness. Try the Iron Duke brews......

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
