on tap at the Sleeping Lady. Sipped on in the rain on the deck.
pours a nice clear dark brown with red lights surrounding, very low carbonation that removes itself from the glass quickly.
she smells of a little fire, a little hustle, ODB would be proud. caramelized malts, some apple cider esters, booze. the flavor is very similar, the esters not so pronounced as in the smell, a bit too sweet, this really has potential as a recipe but the underattenuation is what halts it. Little bit of dates in the finish. Overall, a smooth brew that's pretty close to being outstanding. Maybe a little more time to age and a little more yeast power. I believe this one was around 10% but I neglected to write anything down for abv..
