For this customer favorite, we start with our Postdoc Porter, which is a robust porter with a heavy punch of roast. We then augment the base beer with a coldpress of delicious Espresso Blend from our neighbors at Café Lusso. You’ll never think of coffee the same again.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: super dark brown, almost black, with a light haze. Head is a thin layer of tan foam.
Smell: rich coffee aroma with a little bit of vegetal hop character. The porter itself doesn't come through much compared to the coffee, though.
Taste: big coffee flavor with some sweetness and caramel and a big coffee aftertaste along with the requisite vegetal character.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a decent coffee porter, if a bit heavy-handed.
