I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a crystal clear body and a nice head of ivory foam that leaves an attractive lace. Very nice.

Smell: nicely smoky with a little yeastiness and a definite phenolic character.

Taste: yeasty and lightly sweet with a nice smokiness. It's pretty darn balanced for a smoked Pilsner.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and really a good creaminess for the style.

Overall: this beer really appeals to me. By its nature a Pilsner should be clean and smoke is not a particularly clean flavor, but they work well together here. Interesting and absolutely worth a try.
